Changing your mind is allowed

When I was younger I used to think that I should have a series of immovable convictions. These should be my own beliefs but they should be strong because, otherwise, how would I present myself to the world as a trustworthy human being?

Well, I was wrong. Now I know my trustworthiness doesn’t rest on how strong my beliefs are but in how I conduct myself through life. I don’t have to be a slave to my own beliefs, because changing my mind doesn’t mean I am fickle, it means I have thought about something long enough to decide to think differently.
